Story
Grace Braswell and Laegan Smith, became an official band in April of 2019. Although this is when the official name of the band originated, Laegan and Grace have been playing music together for years before. The girls met at a Pure Life studios summer program when they were twelve years old. Since then, they have been playing and writing music together.
Over the years, the duo has learned to write and experiment with songs and music, bringing a soft and real aspect to their sound— writing coming of age songs true to who they are and to their experiences in life.
After moving to college, songs continued to pour out of her. Thus, turning the page to walk a new path— an independent path.
She moved to a new city, kicking off the next chapter of life. The endless opportunities and adventures feel like lifetimes flying by.
Sounds like the perfect season for an artist, right?
These endless opportunities and inspirations only leave her saying, prendre la balle au bond, or in other words, ready to jump in with both feet.
